The group not only helped me get things done that I would’ve either not done or spent too much time overthinking, but committing to my goals and having the accountability pushed me out of my comfort zone. Let me guess -  you’re a solopreneur, entrepreneur or small business owner doing pretty well selling your services or products, yet you still find…

•   Weeks fly by without you making any progress on THAT project at the bottom of the list that you keep saying is a priority.

•   You’re juggling more tasks than a circus clown juggles pins.

•   You have TONS of ideas, you just don’t know how to solidify them as goals, then break them down and implement a strategy to get them done.

•   You’re nervous about really owning that serious goal because you just can’t see the specifics of the big picture - what to do first and what to do next.

•   You have a vision for where you are going but find yourself continually playing Whack-A-Mole distracted by whatever pops up in front of you, instead of working intentionally on the things that will move you forward.

•   You keep meaning to work on YOUR business but always put client work first because you don’t put “you” on the calendar.

It’s no secret that execution is the biggest challenge for most entrepreneurs. We know where we’re going - it’s the getting there that can be frustrating.

If you’re ready to really commit to achieving your goals and make the progress you desire and deserve, I invite you to join my 12 week Close the Gap Strategy & Execution Group.

Hi, I’m Kathleen Lawson, In 2021, I started my group program at the request of a couple of 1:1 clients. They were looking for the same accountability and execution support I had been providing them - but in a small group setting for the added support and community.

What keeps me growing and upleveling this group? I am elated at the impact this program has on the group members. They are able to make real progress in their businesses and I love watching the transformations happen. The strategies they learn and the structure they put in place boosts their confidence as a business owner. They move their businesses forward with more ease, bringing them closer to the vision they have for their business AND life.

According to The American Society of Training Development, while planning your goals generally provides you a 50% success rate in achieving those goals, an accountability meeting with someone you set goals with increase those odds to 95%.

What are you waiting for? Let’s make it happen.

In this 12-week intimate group program you will:

  • Set your top 1-3 goals. There’s so many things that you could choose to work on. I help you narrow that down so that you can focus, work on the most impactful things now, and set yourself up for success.

  • Break down these goals into an executable action plan. What tasks will it take to achieve the goal and when and how will you tackle them?

  • Identify obstacles you anticipate in executing your plan and then brainstorm solutions to these challenges so that you won’t get tripped up by them.

  • Determine the resources required to achieve your goals. Planning ahead means things don’t come to a screeching halt while you line up key resources. And I’ll connect you to professional resources, as well as tools and systems.

  • Offer accountability support on your chosen weekly executions. You’ll report on your progress and we’ll talk through challenges and brainstorm solutions. Then you’ll schedule and commit to your tasks for the next week.

  • Plan our weeks together through a facilitated “CEO Hour.”

  • As a group of like-minded “goal getters” we will provide community, support and a mastermind environment to fuel you further on your path of action.

“The most surprising outcome of working with Kathleen was the clarity I gained on what the next step in my business should be. By putting the infrastructure in place to manage my copywriting business better, I gained clarity on what I want to do next: offer writing coaching to aspiring writers who want to write a non-fiction book. I wouldn't have predicted that 12 weeks ago and now I'm inspired to keep that idea in motion!”

“I wasn’t sure I was ready for an accountability group. I was a relatively new entrepreneur, and though I spent a year trying to figure out in which direction I should head, I ended up with a gazillion great ideas and not one completed. I was a little skeptical of paying someone else to hold me accountable, but it’s one of the best decisions I ever made!

One goal I had was making a certain amount of money a month. When I hit the goal the first month, the group challenged me to increase it by $2,000 a month, and I’ve been hitting that!”

Frequently Asked Questions

What if I’m not sure what goals I should work on?

No worries! I will help you nail down your goals. Once you’ve committed to the group, you’ll receive the “Playbook” - a set of worksheets to guide you through the program. There are some questions to get you started and then during our 1:1 strategy session, we’ll pick up that conversation. Together, we will decide what will have the biggest impact on your business over the next few months.

Does this take a lot of time?

One of the key habits that comes out of this program is taking time out of the day-to-day to work ON your business. It keeps you moving toward your vision and keeps your business growing. Our weekly meeting is invaluable as you make room to progress your goals. Our weekly CEO Hour will be a game-changer for you as you become more intentional with your time. Overall, you’ll be learning strategies that will ultimately save you time.

Does everyone work on “project” goals?

No, while some group members do focus on a fixed “project” — such as developing a course, rolling out a new program, or implementing a CRM, others will use this group to add structure or develop critical routines in their business — such as managing their time and tasks, building good habits around networking and follow up, or nailing down processes.

What happens in the weekly meetings?

I kick off our weekly meetings by sharing either a strategy that will help set you up for success — such as weekly planning or time blocking, or we talk through options around common processes and systems such as onboarding or off-boarding clients. Then all the group members have the opportunity to talk about their goals and their progress — what happened last week and what’s coming up next week. We celebrate wins, brainstorm solutions and provide feedback. And we make sure everyone is clear on their next action items. It’s a supportive and fun environment.

What happens when I don’t do what I said I would do - will you put me on the spot?

You’ll find this is a supportive group. And have no doubt, we all have those weeks. You’ll find the safe space to regroup and seek solutions to what might be tripping you up. Overall, we find that taking time and space out of the busy day-to-day helps us to prioritize and keep focus on what’s most important.

I’m still not quite sure this is a fit. Can we talk?

Absolutely! I’m always happy to chat with business owners about my programs and answer any questions you might have. Schedule a call here.
